Dom Pedro Golf Vilamoura receives the Golf Resort of the Year award in Portugal

Dom Pedro Golf Vilamoura has earned its first recognition since DETAILS took over its management, winning the Golf Resort of the Year award in Portugal at the 2024 IAGTO (International Association of Golf Travel Operators).

"We are focusing on enhancing the value of the golf product and ensuring proper pricing."

The first half of 2023 was positive for golf tourism in Portugal, with data from Turismo de Portugal showing the best numbers ever recorded in our country. However, Nuno Sepúlveda, president of the National Golf Industry Council (CNIG), acknowledges that it is time to renew the product. This is because there are loyal markets and others that are yet to be explored.
