sports club

A friendly-family club

It is in this unique environment that grandparents, parents, and children share their passion for sport. A club where the values of fair play, unity and respect for nature stand out.

  • Lisbon Sports Club

Lisbon Sports Club was founded in 1861 and owes its origin to cricket, the first sport played by the English community living in Lisbon.

An innovative club that was also a pioneer in golf, soccer, athletics, field hockey and tennis. It was in the origin of the Portuguese Golf Federation, being one of the four founding clubs.

It started at Campo Pequeno, where the Praça de Touros is located today, moved to Cruz Quebrada and then to Ajuda, where it stayed for many years. The growth of the city took him away from the center and passed through Carcavelos, before finding in Belas his definitive address. An old paradise farm located in Serra da Carregueira and in full communion with Nature.

A historical club owned and managed by its members, and that is proud of its unique way of being in sport.
