FastFiber took part in the 34th APDC Digital Business Congress, held on July 1–2 under the theme “Science & Business: Working Together”, bringing together key stakeholders from the tech and telecom sectors.

In the panel on FiberCos and TowerCos, FastFiber’s CEO, Pedro Rocha, emphasized the importance of sustainable business models, dark fiber as a strategic asset, and the need for a stable and transparent regulatory framework that fosters long-term investment and ensures fair market conditions.

With a network reaching over 5.8 million homes passed and more than 7.4 million kilometers of dark fiber installed, FastFiber reaffirmed its commitment to leading the digital transformation through resilient, future-ready infrastructure.

With more than 700 in-person participants and 5,000 online, the congress underscored the value of collaboration between science, industry, and public policy in building a stronger digital future for Portugal.
